The unit must meet vibration specifications for in a rugged, mobile environment. Additionally, it will be designed to meet MIL STD-461 EMI requirements. Production of approximately 100 units will follow.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>April, 2015<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>SC Electronics has announced completion of a firm fixed price contract to deliver 130 power supply subassemblies used in the Texas Instruments AN\/VSG-2, Unit 2, Thermal Sight Mounted Gunner\u2019s Display for the M60A3 Main Battle Tank.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>September, 2014<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>SC Electronics has announced that it has been awarded a contract by The Aerospace Human Factors Research Laboratory (AHFRL) of the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) to build a new high-fidelity simulator for the purpose of continuing rotorcraft research. The contract requires an uncertified Level 6 simulator equivalent to a Single Engine Turbine Helicopter (SETH). SCE plans to develop a Six Degrees Of Freedom (6DOF) Bell 206B flight model based on software tools from Presagis USA (Montreal, Canada).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>January, 2012<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>SC Electronics has announced that the Anti Skid Test Set (ASTS), Lockheed part number 2SJJ01127-0003, has been certified to ATEX (level?). The ASTS was designed to provide a velocity stimulus to the F-35 wheel speed transducer, which facilitates brake antiskid system checkouts. The ASTS is capable of providing a rotational velocity stimulus with over 7.5 inch pounds of torque and inducing various wheel speeds in the range of 0 to 2000 RPMs to verify correct system response on F-35 aircraft. The units may now be deployed by Lockheed to European airfields where ATEX certification is required.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>2011<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>SC Electronics has been awarded a contract by Jefferson Laboratory, Newport News VA, for the development of two hundred and sixty rack mounted power supplies required to energize particle acceleration quadruple magnets. \u00a0The units are 1.5KW, 20A, 75V programmable, bipolar power supplies. \u00a0Loads vary from a few 100\u2019s of milliohms in resistance and a few 100\u2019s millihenries in inductance to a few ohms and appoximately 1 Henry. \u00a0The power supplies are remotely controlled. \u00a0SCE will furnish all labor, equipment and materials, and perform all work necessary to design, prepare all drawings and manuals, manufacture and assemble, prepare test procedures, factory test and deliver units to Jefferson Lab.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>October, 2009<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Fort Worth, TX \u2013 SC Electronics announced today that it has been awarded a purchase order from Koch Pipeline Co., Wichita K.S., for delivery of a ruggedized, universal input 24-32V power supply for use in field operations. \u00a0The SCE 926 meets military environmental requirements for use in rugged terrain and harsh climates.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>September, 2008<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Fort Worth, TX \u2013 SC Electronics announced today that it has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $1.8 million from U.S. Army CECOM, Ft. Monmouth, NJ. \u00a0This is the second significant award from this customer for the SCE 950A ruggedized power supply. \u00a0The SCE 950A produces 1-30 VDC output at up to 60 Amps. \u00a0Input can be 85-270VAC, 50-400hz or 120-380VDC.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>December, 2007<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Fort Worth, TX \u2013 SC Electronics announced today that it has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $400,000 from Defense Logistics Agency, Richmond, VA for a high voltage power supply. \u00a0This award stems from a previous contract under which the NSWC approved a critical appliaction item for production.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>August, 2007<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Fort Worth, TX \u2013 SC Electronics announced today that it has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $1.2\u00a0million from U.S. Army CECOM, Ft. Monmouth, NJ.\u00a0to supply a number of\u00a0ruggedized power supplies. \u00a0The SCE 950A is a ruggedized COTS universal input, variable output DC power supply for use in powering communications equipment.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n\n<div><strong>May, 2007<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ft. Worth Star Telegram<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>SC Electronics wins Air Force Contract<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ft.
